Couples Therapy · Ontario
We offer six specialized couples therapy programs, each matched to a different kind of relationship difficulty. The right fit depends on your history, your goals, and what has or has not worked before.
Our Approach
Most relationship difficulties are not primarily communication problems. They are emotional and relational problems that need to be understood before they can be changed.
Every couples intake includes both joint and individual sessions. Understanding each partner's own history, patterns, and needs is what makes it possible to build a plan that actually fits the relationship.
We offer six distinct couples therapy approaches because different relationship problems need different treatment. Our intake process identifies which program, or which combination, gives you the best chance of lasting change.
Most couples seek therapy for communication problems. But when conflict, disconnection, or trauma are driving the relationship, communication tools alone rarely hold. We work at the level of what is actually maintaining the difficulty.
Our Programs
Each program is designed for a different kind of relationship difficulty. If you are unsure which fits your situation, the intake process will work that out with you.

Getting Started
You do not need to know which program is right before reaching out. That is what the intake process is for.
A brief conversation with our intake coordinator to understand what you are looking for and whether we are a good fit. No assessment, no pressure. Just a starting point.
We meet with both partners together and individually. This gives us a clear picture of the relationship history, each partner's background, and what is maintaining the difficulties.
Your therapist shares a clear formulation of what they found and recommends the program best suited to your situation. You decide together how to proceed.
Concerns We Treat
Our programs cover a wide range of relational and clinical presentations. Click any concern to learn more about how we approach it.
Is This Right for You
Couples therapy is most effective when both partners are willing to engage honestly with what is happening in the relationship. It does not require both partners to be equally ready or equally certain , just willing to show up and try.
The earlier couples seek support, the more options are available. But many couples who come to us have been stuck for years and still make meaningful, lasting change. The intake process will give you a clear sense of what is realistic for your situation.
